Assay is provided by Ferrolo, referred to here as “we”, “us” and “our”. Questions about this document go to assay@ferrolo.com.
1. Who this licence is for
This licence applies to every person who signs in to Assay, including through the website, any mobile app and the API. You use Assay as a member of an organisation that has agreed to our terms of service. Where this licence and those terms differ, the terms of service apply.
By signing in you accept this licence. If you don’t accept it, don’t use Assay.
2. What you may do
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use Assay for your organisation’s internal business, within the role your organisation gives you, for as long as your organisation’s plan is active and you remain a member.
3. What you may not do
- share your sign-in, or let anyone else use your account;
- copy, modify, distribute, sell or lend any part of Assay;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, or try to extract its source code, models or prompts, except where the law allows;
- scrape, crawl or access it by automated means other than the published API with a key your organisation created;
- test, probe or get round its security, limits or roles;
- use it, or its results, to build a competing product;
- remove or hide any notice of ownership.
4. Ownership
Assay is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights in it, including in its software, decision engine, designs and trade marks. Content your organisation puts in belongs to your organisation.
5. Updates
We update Assay regularly and may do so without asking or telling you. Updates may add, change, improve or remove features. Some features may need a recent browser or app version.
We may also update this licence at any time. The updated version applies from when it is published here.
6. When this licence ends
This licence ends automatically when your organisation’s plan ends, when you are removed from the organisation, or when your account is deleted. We may end or suspend it straight away if you break it. When it ends you must stop using the service.
7. No warranty, and our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Assay is provided to you “as is”, without any promise that it will meet your needs or be free of errors, and we have no liability to you personally for using it. Our responsibilities are to your organisation, under our terms of service.
8. Law
This licence is governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
